Acting Efforts

  • Tom Jones, A Foundling.  Jim will be playing Squire Western in this Sterling Playmakers production due to go up the first two weekends of April 2008. Directed by Paul Rubenstein. By David Rogers, based on the novel by Henry Fielding.

 

  • Pride and Prejudice: Jim played the Reverend Mr. Collins, and Andi played Mary Bennett in this 2006 Sterling Playmakers production. Directed by Kevin Robertson. The Jane Austen novel adapted by Jane Kendall.

 

  • 1776:  Jim played the Reverend Jonathan Witherspoon in this 2006 Sterling Playmakers production. Directed by Karlah Louis. Book by Peter Stone, music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards.

 

  • Picasso at the Lapin Agile: Jim played Freddy, the bartender, and Andi played Sagot, the art dealer. A 2005 Leesburg Theatre Company production, directed by Mary Speed.  Written by Steve Martin. Playwriting

  • Tryshylys:  A one-act play written by Jim and Andi and performed at the Sterling Playmakers One-Act Festival in 2001. Directed by Jim.

 

  • The Renaissance Courting Game:  A one-act play written by Jim and performed by the Noble Blades during the 1998 and 2002 seasons at various venues around Virginia.

 

  • Renaissance: Survivor: A one-act play written by Jim and performed by the Noble Blades during the 2003 season at various venues around Virginia.

 

  • The 23rd Hour:  A one-act play written by Jim and performed at the Sterling Playmakers One-Act Festival in 1997.

Other

Jim and Andi both passed the Society of American Fight Directors skill proficiency test in the rapier and dagger fighting style, working toward recognition as stage actor/combatants.
